Military and Diversity

The Military History of African Americans predates the history of America considering their role in the American Revolution. The U.S. military has long understood the value of diversity. As such, they are on the leading edge of a diversity and inclusion culture.

The men and women I meet during their transition see past differences in race, creed and color. They focus on the more relevant and important qualities of character, that is, those qualities that directly related to performance and drive results for the organization.

Corporate America is likewise focused on diversity and inclusion. Hiring Military not only compliments a culture of diversity and inclusion but also puts a focus on performance, a focus driven by a candidate pool of top performing diverse leaders.
