RecruitMilitary Veteran Job Fair Coming to Columbus on July 28
"RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment," said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson. "Just last year, 56.3% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair and employers were expected to extend as many as 38,700 interviews and more than 12,000 job offers."
In March of 2016, the RecruitMilitary Columbus event connected more than 314 veteran job seekers with 48 exhibitors, including JPMorgan Chase & Co., McKesson Corporation and The Home Depot. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 402 interviews and make up to 153 job offers as a result of that career fair.
RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006, and has held 9 events in Columbus, drawing 2,076 attendees and 403 exhibitors. The company has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country. RecruitMilitary will return to Columbus for an additional veteran career fair in November.
