RecruitMilitary Veteran Job Fair Coming to Riverside on February 4
“RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a solid track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment,” said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson, a former Captain in the Marine Corps. “Just last year, 55% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair, and employers were expected to extend as many as 29,000 interviews and more than 9,000 job offers.”
In September of 2015, the RecruitMilitary Riverside event connected more than 387 veteran job seekers with 33 exhibitors, including Lockheed Martin and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 145 interviews and make up to 60 job offers as a result of that career fair.
RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006, and has held two previous events in Riverside, drawing 656 attendees and 66 exhibitors. The company has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country. RecruitMilitary will return to Riverside for an additional veteran career fair in October of 2016.
