RecruitMilitary Veteran Job Fair Coming to Portland on September 29
"RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment," said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson. "Just last year, 56.3% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair and employers were expected to extend as many as 38,700 interviews and more than 12,000 job offers."
In July of 2015, the RecruitMilitary Portland event connected more than 249 veteran job seekers with 35 exhibitors, including Cintas, First Command Financial Planning and Lowe's Companies, Inc. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 226 interviews and make up to 71 job offers as a result of that career fair.
RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006, and has held 1 event in Portland, drawing 249 attendees and 35 exhibitors. The company has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country.
