RecruitMilitary Veteran Job Fair Coming to Philadelphia on March 31
The military-to-civilian recruitment firm RecruitMilitary will produce a Veteran Career Fair at Lincoln Financial Field on Thursday, March 31, 2016. JPMorgan Chase & Co. will sponsor the event, which will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
“RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a solid track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment,” said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson, a former Captain in the Marine Corps. “Just last year, 55% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair, and employers were expected to extend as many as 29,000 interviews and more than 9,000 job offers.”
In November of 2015, the RecruitMilitary Philadelphia event connected more than 389 veteran job seekers with 53 exhibitors, including Lockheed Martin, JPMorgan Chase, and Amtrak. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 342 interviews and make up to 94 job offers as a result of that career fair.
RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006, and has held 25 events in Philadelphia, drawing 8,146 attendees and 1,050 exhibitors. The company has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country. RecruitMilitary will return to Philadelphia for two additional veteran career fairs in 2016.
