MBA Veterans Career Conference Presents the Best Way to Hire Vets

Military service provides the nation’s best leadership development. Combined with an MBA from one of the world’s premier universities it creates an unmatched talent pool for companies seeking to build their executive pipelines.

The MBA Veterans Network is gearing up for its yearly MBA Veterans Career Conference, a premier national showcase for veterans enrolled in top-ranked MBA programs throughout the country. The event attracts sponsors and exhibitors from a wide array of industries, including many of the nation’s leading corporations.

Founded in 2008, the MBA Veterans Network connects military veteran students and alumni of the world’s top-ranked universities with employers who value their elite academic credentials, military leadership abilities, and limitless career potential. In 2018, Bradley-Morris/RecruitMilitary welcomed the MBA Veterans Network® to its family.

This year the conference takes place in Chicago from October 10-11. It’s the 12th annual conference – and the largest to date.

Craig Griffin, a former Army aviator with the 101st Airborne Division, is the chief business development officer for Bradley-Morris/RecruitMilitary and directs the event. “Companies should attend because it’s the only event in the country where they can find this level of talent,” said Griffin. “The candidates attending are future executive-level leaders. They are not only decorated veterans, but they are enrolled in the top business schools in the country. Ninety percent of the attendees come from 50 of the country’s top-ranked business schools. Sponsoring companies can hire both interns and full-time employees, as both first- and second-year MBA students will be in attendance.”

The event offers two days of opportunity for deeper interaction with companies from every major industry. Attendees benefit from corporate presentations, networking receptions, private dinners hosted by corporate sponsors, industry career panels and the career expo itself. Hundreds of interviews happen onsite each year.

“In the years since its founding, MBA Veterans has become the country’s preeminent organizer of student veteran hiring conferences at both the MBA and undergraduate levels,” said Tim Best, CEO of Bradley-Morris/RecruitMilitary. “The MBA Veterans Network and its events enable us to continue to expand the ways our clients can connect with America’s top veterans. Both the MBA Veterans and UndergraduVets Conferences are incredible resources for organizations seeking to hire the nation’s most talented student veterans.”
