Maximize Your Exposure to Dozens of Companies at RecruitMilitary Veteran Career Fairs

RecruitMilitary Veteran Career Fairs deliver. We help organizations excel by attracting, appreciating and retaining America's best talent, its veterans. Each of our events is packed with employers who want to meet, talk with, and hire you.

Disabled Veterans of America (DAV) served as our title sponsor for 62 of our 106 events in 2016. Other veteran employment leaders sponsored our events as well, including Adobe, Bank of America, BlueLine Rental, CenterPoint Energy, Crosby, Deutsche Bank, Drexel University, Education Corporation of America, Ford Motor Company, Hankook Tire, Highmark Health, JPMorgan Chase, PNC Bank, TravelCenters of America, UPMC Health System, and USAA.

Ford Motor Company, USAA, DeVry University, Union Institute, and Education Corporation of America presented pre-event seminars to veteran job seekers. Our 2016 events were widely promoted by print and digital media, as well as by television and radio stations.

Each year RecruitMilitary surveys both clients and candidates that attend our veteran job fairs. In 2016 more than 31,502 veteran job seekers attended 106 events across the country. Employers conducted more than 40,300 interviews (averaging up to nine per employer) through our events, and over 12,500 job offers (averaging 2.7 per employer) were made.

Over the last five years, more than 78% of career fair attendees would recommend our events to their buddies. Veterans who attended summarized their experiences:

*“I have attended several job fairs recently, but they all pale in comparison to the RM / DAV Veterans Career Fair. Yesterday I accepted a verbal offer as the result of said efforts.”
“There were plenty of opportunities. I've already interviewed and should be starting my new career next week. Mission accomplished. Thank you!”*

*“There is a wide variety of positions available for all career paths -- from entry level to senior management. I have already had interviews from employers I met with there and have a final interview next week. Thank you.”*

Career Fair exhibitors even offered tips for veteran job seekers:

*“Come prepared. Dress to impress and have an effective ‘elevator pitch.’”*

*“Research the exhibitors in advance of the career fair. Know what they do and be able to explain how your skills and experience are a good match for their openings.”*

*“Visit every booth, even if you are unfamiliar with the exhibitor. You never know what positions they might have available.”*

Landing at the right organization is a challenge for any veteran, whether transitioning out of the service or seeking new opportunity. Our Veteran Career Fairs offer a unique opportunity to maximize your exposure to dozens of companies looking for your skills and background – all in one room.

And now that RecruitMilitary is part of Bradley-Morris, Inc. we offer veterans even more opportunities to find employment by expanding our best-in-class events to military bases around the country. We’ll host more than 125 career fairs in 2017.
