Government to Host a Federal Hiring Event for Disabled Vets

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and the U.S. Department of Labor are sponsoring a federal hiring event in the Washington D.C. area on April 26th, 2010 for veterans who are 30% or more disabled. Representatives from many agencies will be reviewing military resumes, which must be submitted to prior to the event, and inviting selected military job seekers to attend. Documentation supporting your service-connected disability rating may be asked for by HR during the interview process, but should not be submitted to OPM with your military resume.
