DAV RecruitMilitary Portland Career Fair September 28
LOVELAND, Ohio - Sept. 13, 2017 - PRLog -- DAV and RecruitMilitary will produce a Veterans Job Fair at Veterans Memorial Coliseum on September 28, 2017 for veterans, transitioning military personnel, National Guard members, Reserve members and military spouses.
"Last year, 52% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview following a DAV RecruitMilitary job fair. Employers were expected to extend as many as 40,300 interviews and more than 12,560 job offers," said RecruitMilitary Senior Vice President of Sales Rob Arndt. "DAV RecruitMilitary job fairs offer the opportunity to meet a variety of veteran candidates face-to-face, assess their skills and even interview them on the spot for available positions."
Among the companies attending RecruitMilitary's Portland event are Federal Aviation Administration, PacifiCorp, Roseburg Forest Products Company, Transportation Security Administration and United States Postal Service. In September of 2016, the DAV RecruitMilitary Portland event connected more than 159 veteran job seekers with 28 exhibitors including Bank of America, Bureau of Development Services, City of Portland Oregon, Food Services of America, Inc., Mentor Graphics, Pacific Coast Fruit Company, Port of Vancouver USA, Portland General Electric, Portland Police Bureau, Tokyo Electron America, Inc., US Border Patrol and United States Postal Service.
RecruitMilitary has held seven events in Portland, drawing 1,318 attendees and 170 exhibitors.The company has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country.
