DAV RecruitMilitary St. Louis Career Fair July 13
LOVELAND, Ohio - June 16, 2017 - DAV and RecruitMilitary will produce a Veterans Job Fair at Chaifetz Arena at St. Louis University on July 13, 2017 for veterans, transitioning military personnel, National Guard members, Reserve members and military spouses. The event will feature more than 57 St. Louis-area exhibitors.
"Last year, 52% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview following a DAV RecruitMilitary job fair. Employers were expected to extend as many as 40,300 interviews and more than 12,560 job offers," said RecruitMilitary Senior Vice President of Sales Rob Arndt. "DAV RecruitMilitary job fairs offer the opportunity to meet a variety of veteran candidates face-to-face, assess their skills and even interview them on the spot for available positions."
Among the companies attending RecruitMilitary's St. Louis event are Archer Daniels Midland, Department of Veteran Affairs, Emerson Electric, Farmers Insurance, GardaWorld, Leidos, General Dynamics Corporation, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Missouri State Park Rangers, St. Louis Arc, St. Louis County Dept of Justice Services, St. Louis Police Department and Swank Motion Pictures, Inc. In November of 2016, the DAV RecruitMilitary St. Louis event connected more than 294 veteran job seekers with 37 exhibitors including American Heart Association, Inc., Leidos and The Boeing Company. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 303 interviews and make up to 111 job offers following that career fair.
