RecruitMilitary Announces 2017 Job Fair Schedule
Veteran job fairs take place nationwide to include on-base events
LOVELAND, Ohio, Dec. 21, 2016 -- RecruitMilitary, the national leader in helping employers connect with high-quality veteran talent, announced their 2017 Veterans Job Fair schedule today. Kicking-off on January 12 in San Antonio, Texas and Tampa, Florida, the schedule includes 66 cities, 27 on-base events and 127 events in total. RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006. By the end of 2017, the company will have delivered nearly a thousand events in 66 cities across the country.
"Just last year, 56.3% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview because of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair and employers were expected to extend as many as 38,700 interviews and more than 12,000 job offers," said RecruitMilitary President Peter Gudmundsson. "Adding on-base locations brings a new and valuable talent pool to bear for employers – the transitioning military job seeker. These events will expand the opportunities and exposure for transitioning servicemembers and businesses alike."
