DAV and RecruitMilitary to Produce All Veterans Career Fair in Philadelphia on November 17

LOVELAND, Ohio - Nov. 1, 2016 - PRLog -- DAV and RecruitMilitary will produce an All Veterans Career Fair at Lincoln Financial Field on November 17, 2016 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

"RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment," said President Peter Gudmundsson. "Just last year, 56.3% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair and employers were expected to extend as many as 38,700 interviews and more than 12,000 job offers."

In August of 2016, the DAV-RecruitMilitary Philadelphia event connected more than 342 veteran job seekers with 63 exhibitors, including Comcast/NBC Universal, JPMorgan Chase and Wegmans Food Markets, Inc. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 599 interviews and make up to 215 job offers as a result of that career fair.

RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006 and has held 27 events in Philadelphia, drawing 8,761 attendees and 1,169 exhibitors. The company has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country.
