DAV and RecruitMilitary to Produce All Veterans Career Fair in Austin on October 13

LOVELAND, Ohio - Sept. 26, 2016 - PRLog -- DAV and RecruitMilitary will produce an All Veterans Career Fair at the Circuit of Americas on October 13, 2016 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. USAA will present a pre-event seminar for veterans and military spouses at 10:00am titled "Five Steps to Informed Financial Transition."

"RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment," said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson. "Just last year, 56.3% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair and employers were expected to extend as many as 38,700 interviews and more than 12,000 job offers."

In April of 2016, the DAV-RecruitMilitary Austin event connected more than 314 veteran job seekers with 44 exhibitors, including Accenture, Charles Schwab and Oracle Corporation. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 246 interviews and make up to 69 job offers as a result of that career fair.

RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006 and has held 11 events in Austin, drawing 3,137 attendees and 364 exhibitors. The company has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country.
