RecruitMilitary Veteran Job Fair Coming to Birmingham on August 25

LOVELAND, Ohio - Aug. 4, 2016 -The military-to-civilian recruitment firm RecruitMilitary will produce a Veteran Career Fair at McWane Science Center on Thursday, August 25, 2016. The event is sponsored by Education Corporation of America and will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Virginia College Career Services Department will host a pre-event seminar for attendees at 10 a.m. titled "Career Readiness and the Transitioning Military Servicemember."

In August of 2015, the RecruitMilitary Birmingham event connected more than 325 veteran job seekers with 35 exhibitors, including Johnson Controls, Inc, Federal Bureau of Prisons and Norfolk Southern Corporation. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 345 interviews and make up to 89 job offers as a result of that career fair.
