DAV and RecruitMilitary to Produce All Veterans Career Fair in St. Louis on July 14

LOVELAND, Ohio - June 29, 2016 - PRLog -- DAV and RecruitMilitary will produce an All Veterans Career Fair at the Chaifetz Arena at St. Louis University on Thursday, July 14, 2016. The event will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

"RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment," said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson. "Just last year, 56.3% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair and employers were expected to extend as many as 38,700 interviews and more than 12,000 job offers."

In November of 2015, the DAV-RecruitMilitary St. Louis event connected more than 458 veteran job seekers with 40 exhibitors, including Lockheed Martin and The Home Depot. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 289 interviews and make up to 98 job offers as a result of that career fair.

RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006 and has held 17 events in St. Louis, drawing 5,415 attendees and 540 exhibitors. The company has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country. RecruitMilitary will return to St. Louis to host one additional veteran career fair in 2016.
