DAV and RecruitMilitary to Produce All Veterans Career Fair in Phoenix on June 9

LOVELAND, Ohio - May 9, 2016 - PRLog -- DAV and RecruitMilitary will produce an All Veterans Career Fair at Talking Stick Resort Arena on Thursday, June 9, 2016. The event will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment," said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson. "Just last year, 56.3% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair and employers were expected to extend as many as 38,700 interviews and more than 12,000 job offers."

In February, the DAV-RecruitMilitary Phoenix event connected more than 431 veteran job seekers with 61 exhibitors, including Apple, American Express, and JPMorgan Chase. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 600 interviews and make up to 199 job offers as a result of that career fair.

RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006 has held 20 events in Phoenix, drawing 8,851 attendees and 775 exhibitors.The company has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country. RecruitMilitary will return to Phoenix to host an additional veteran career fair in September.
