RecruitMilitary Launches Job Fair App

LOVELAND, Ohio - April 25, 2016 - PRLog -- RecruitMilitary - the nation's largest veteran hiring company - has launched a mobile app for its All Veteran Career Fairs. The mobile app is being tested in four markets: Dallas, Texas on May 11; Omaha, Nebraska and Norfolk, Virginia on May 12; and Cincinnati, Ohio on May 26. The RecruitMilitary Career Fair Plus app is available for iOS and Android users, and is free to download. The app aims to simplify the process of preparing for and attending a RecruitMilitary career fair.

"RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment," said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson. "This mobile app is another tool in the toolbox for veterans as they attend our veteran career fairs."

The app features:

  • Event information.
  • The most up-to-date list of employers attending the fairs to allow veterans to accelerate their research.
  • The ability to take notes and store the information directly in the app.
  • Career Fair 101 - which includes steps to help veterans prepare to attend a RecruitMilitary career fair.

"Just last year, 56.3% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair and employers were expected to extend as many as 38,700 interviews and more than 12,000 job offers," said Gudmundsson.

RecruitMilitary helps military veterans and spouses find civilian jobs. Founded in 1998, the company is located in Loveland, Ohio. RecruitMilitary's CEO and President, Peter Gudmundsson, is a former officer in the United States Marine Corps, and over 65% of RecruitMilitary employees are veterans or military spouses.

RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006. By the end of 2015, the company produced over 814 events in 65 cities across the country.
