DAV and RecruitMilitary to Produce All Veterans Career Fair in San Antonio on May 19
LOVELAND, Ohio - April 16, 2016 - PRLog -- DAV and RecruitMilitary will produce an All Veterans Career Fair at the Norris Conference Centers - San Antonio on Thursday, May 19, 2016. USAA will sponsor the event, which will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
USAA will also present a seminar at 10:00 a.m.: "Five Steps to Informed Financial Transition."
RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment," said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson. "Just last year, 56.3% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair and employers were expected to extend as many as 38,700 interviews and more than 12,000 job offers."
In February, the DAV-RecruitMilitary San Antonio event connected more than 484 veteran job seekers with 57 exhibitors, including Lockheed Martin and L-3 Communications. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 409 interviews and make up to 118 job offers as a result of that career fair.
RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006 and has held 13 events in San Antonio, drawing 7,082 attendees and 723 exhibitors. The company has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country. RecruitMilitary will return to San Antonio to host an additional veteran career fair in 2016.
