DAV and RecruitMilitary to Produce All Veterans Career Fair in Denver on April 14

LOVELAND, Ohio - March 8, 2016 - PRLog -- DAV and RecruitMilitary will produce an All Veterans Career Fair at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on Thursday, April 14, 2016. The event will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

USAA’s local wealth management team will present a seminar at 10:00 a.m. entitled "Five Steps to Informed Financial Transition.”

RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment,” said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson. “Just last year, 56.3% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair and employers were expected to extend as many as 38,700 interviews and more than 12,000 job offers."

In August of 2015, the DAV-RecruitMilitary Denver event connected more than 310 veteran job seekers with 82 exhibitors, including Apple, Oracle, and The Kroger Company. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 470 interviews and make up to 143 job offers as a result of that career fair.

RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006 and has held 19 events in Denver, drawing 6,016 attendees and 889 exhibitors. The company has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country. RecruitMilitary will return to Denver to host an additional veteran career fair in August.
