RecruitMilitary Veteran Job Fair Coming to Columbus on March 31
“RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a solid track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment,” said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson, a former Captain in the Marine Corps. “Just last year, 55% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair, and employers were expected to extend as many as 29,000 interviews and more than 9,000 job offers.”
In November of 2015, the RecruitMilitary Columbus event connected more than 189 veteran job seekers with 46 exhibitors, including Lockheed Martin, JPMorgan Chase, and Zulily, Inc. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 288 interviews and make up to 173 job offers as a result of that career fair.
RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006, and has held 8 events in Columbus, drawing 1,762 attendees and 353 exhibitors. The company has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country. RecruitMilitary will return to Columbus for two additional veteran career fairs in 2016.
