Ryan Vargas, driver of the No. 6 Chevrolet, is a military family member himself - his grandfather and brother are veterans of the U.S. military. “I’m really excited to be running such a patriotic scheme. NASCAR’s support of our military is second to none, and to be able to put thousands of eyes on what RecruitMilitary does for our veterans is incredible,” said Vargas. “We’ve been showing speed at the intermediate tracks, and this weekend should be no different.”

Catch the action live starting this Friday, May 27th, at 3 PM ET on FS1 with NASCAR Xfinity Series practice and qualifying from Charlotte Motor Speedway, followed by the Alsco Uniforms 300 race coverage on Saturday, May 28th, beginning at 1 PM ET.
####About the driver:
Ryan Vargas competes full-time for JD Motorsports in the 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. The 21-year-old competed in twenty-nine races with the team in 2021. He also ran a total of nine races with the team in 2020, earning a top-10 finish. In 2018, he competed full-time in the ARCA Menards Series East and earned six top-10 finishes. Vargas is also a member of the 2018 NASCAR NEXT class.
