RecruitMilitary to Present Civilian Jobs/Opportunities Expo for Veterans in Dallas Area on July 14
Dallas, TX (PR Log) June 14, 2011 – RecruitMilitary, a military-to-civilian recruiting firm, will present a free civilian employment, business-ownership, and education Opportunity Expo for job seekers who have military backgrounds at Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas in Irving, Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex), on Thursday, July 14. USAA (http://www.usaa.com) will sponsor and exhibit at the event. RecruitMilitary is inviting veterans who already have civilian work experience, men and women who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, members of the National Guard and reserves, military spouses, and other military family members. The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m.
RecruitMilitary and USAA expect more than 45 employers, franchisors, and educational institutions to reserve exhibitor booths at the Expo. Already signed up are Argosy University, AutoNation, Bank of America, Bell Helicopter Textron Inc., Best Buy Corporation, Brown Mackie College, Chase, the City of Fort Worth, Coca-Cola Refreshments, DeVry University, DRS Technologies, Dallas Baptist University, First Command Financial Planning, FFE Transportation, G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc., Grand Canyon University, Halliburton Energy Services, Health Management Systems, Hyatt Regency DFW, ICDC College, Lincoln College of Technology, Luminant, McLane Advanced Technologies, My Computer Career, New Horizons Computer Learning Center, Penhall Company, Prudential Insurance Company, RadioShack, Sanford Brown, Strayer University, Tarleton State University, The Kroger Company, TMX Finance, The Art Institutes, Troy University, USAA, the United States Secret Service, and World Inspection Network International.
RecruitMilitary (http://www.recruitmilitary.com) will produce the Expo in cooperation with The American Legion (http://www.legion.org), an association of veterans who served during times of war. The Legion has 2.4 million members in nearly 14,000 posts throughout the world. Congress chartered the association in 1919.
RecruitMilitary has scheduled 30 additional Expos for 2011.
