RecruitMilitary to Present Civilian Jobs/Opportunities Expo for Veterans in Miami Area on December 2
Miami, FL (PR Log) November 1, 2010 – RecruitMilitary, a military-to-civilian recruiting firm, will present a free civilian employment, entrepreneurship, and education Opportunity Expo for job seekers who have military backgrounds at Sun Life Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins, on Thursday, December 2. RecruitMilitary is inviting veterans who already have civilian work experience, men and women who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, members of the National Guard and reserves, military spouses, and other military family members. The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m.
The company expects more than 30 employers, franchisors, and educational institutions to reserve exhibitor booths at the Expo. Already signed up are Action Coach, Amtrak, Argosy University, Brown Mackie College, Capella University, Coca-Cola, Columbia Southern University, Corinthian Colleges Inc., DeVry University, FastTrain, First Choice Business Brokers, Florida International University, G & K Services Inc., Home Depot, Homeland Security Solutions Inc., the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Merchant’s Tire and National Tire & Battery, Military Sealift Command, the Military Spouse Corporate Career Network, New York Life, Oklahoma South Restaurant Group, Ryder System Inc., Snap-On Tools, Strayer University, TD Bank, NA, The Art Institutes, 20/20 Companies, and United States Customs and Border Protection.
RecruitMilitary (www2.recruitmilitary.com) will produce the Expo in cooperation with The American Legion (http://www.legion.org), an association of veterans who served during times of war. The Legion has 2.7 million members in nearly 15,000 posts throughout the world. Congress chartered the association in 1919.
RecruitMilitary has scheduled four additional Veteran Opportunity Expos for 2010 and 60 Expos for 2011.
