RecruitMilitary to Present Civilian Jobs/Opportunities Expo for Veterans in Las Vegas on November 4

Las Vegas, NV (PR Log) October 1, 2010 – RecruitMilitary, a military-to-civilian recruiting firm, will present a free civilian employment, entrepreneurship, and education Opportunity Expo for job seekers who have military backgrounds at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Thursday, November 4. RecruitMilitary is inviting veterans who already have civilian work experience, men and women who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, members of the National Guard and reserves, military spouses, and other military family members.

The company expects more than 25 employers, franchisors, and educational institutions to reserve exhibitor booths at the Expo. Already signed up are the Air Force Reserve, American InterContinental University, the Army National Guard, Capella University, Coca-Cola, DeVry University, G4S (Wackenhut), Grand Canyon University, Homeland Security Solutions Inc., the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Nalco Energy Services—Downstream, the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Northrop Grumman, Remote Imagery Technologies, Inc., RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company, Schlumberger, Snap-On Tools, The Art Institutes, The Entrepreneur’s Source, The Learning Center, United States Customs and Border Protection, and Walgreens.

RecruitMilitary (www2.recruitmilitary.com) will produce the Expo in cooperation with The American Legion (http://www.legion.org), an association of veterans who served during times of war. The Legion has 2.7 million members in nearly 15,000 posts throughout the world. Congress chartered the association in 1919.

RecruitMilitary has scheduled 9 additional Veteran Opportunity Expos for 2010 and 60 Expos for 2011.
