RecruitMilitary to Present Civilian Jobs/Opportunities Expo for Veterans in Boston Area on October 7
Boston, MA (PR Log) September 6, 2010 – RecruitMilitary, a military-to-civilian recruiting firm, will present a free civilian employment, entrepreneurship, and education Opportunity Expo for job seekers who have military backgrounds in the Boston area on Thursday, October 7. The event will take place in Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. RecruitMilitary is inviting veterans who already have civilian work experience, men and women who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, members of the National Guard and reserves, military spouses, and other military family members.
The company expects more than 35 employers, franchisors, and educational institutions to reserve exhibitor booths at the Expo. Already signed up are Acushnet Company, the Air Force Reserve, Amtrak, Bank of America, Citizens Financial Group, Comcast Cable, CSX Transportation, DeVry University, Eze Castle Software, General Dynamics – Electric Boat, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Lincoln College of Technology, Lowe’s, Military Sealift Command, National Grid, Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Nstar, Parker Professional Driving School, Prudential, Snap-On Tools, TD Bank, The Art Institutes, The Dwyer Group, TRAX, Tufts Health Plan, United States Army Natick Soldier RD&E Center, United States Army Recruiting Command, United States Customs and Border Protection, Veterans Incorporated, Waste Management, and Wentworth Institute of Technology.
RecruitMilitary (www2.recruitmilitary.com) will produce the Expo in cooperation with The American Legion (http://www.legion.org), an association of veterans who served during times of war. The Legion has 2.7 million members in nearly 15,000 posts throughout the world. Congress chartered the association in 1919.
RecruitMilitary has scheduled 17 additional Veteran Opportunity Expos for 2010 and 60 Expos for 2011.
